The Sultanate of Oman concluded its successful participation in the 3rd edition of the ‘Saudi Food Show’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, reaffirming the growing presence and competitiveness of Omani products. The Sultanate was represented by the Supervisory Team for Promoting Omani Products “OPEX”, alongside a number of Omani companies and factories. The participants under the Sultanate’s pavilion highlighted the pivotal role of specialised exhibitions in enhancing the visibility of Omani industries on the global scale, inking strategic partnerships, and opening new export opportunities, all of which support the national economy in line with Oman Vision 2040.

Rashed Al Maqimi, Sales Director at Zamzam Company for soft drinks, shared his thoughts on the exhibition, saying, “Our participation in the Saudi Food Show reflects our commitment to showcasing premium products and strengthening our presence in Saudi, regional, and international markets. This exhibition marks a key milestone in our strategy to expand into Arab and global markets, and hence creating new opportunities for partnership and distribution. Moreover, the support from the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates “Madayn” has been instrumental in helping emerging companies grow and compete regionally, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 to boost competitiveness and elevate national industries on the global stage.”

On his part, Ziyad Al Shukaili, Marketing Specialist at Oman Foodstuff Factory (Al Mudhish), commented, “Participating regularly in specialised F&B exhibitions is integral to achieving our key objectives, particularly the expansion of our high-quality exports and the sustained promotion of our products. The early days of the Saudi Food Show 2025 have already yielded positive results, including new orders for our products and several key meetings to finalise new contracts and renew existing ones.”

Mohammed Al Balushi, Business Development Manager at Areej Vegetable Oils and Derivatives, stated that “The Saudi market remains one of the major importers of our products, making our participation in this exhibition in Riyadh a key priority. The exhibition provides a prime platform to showcase our diverse range of products including cooking oil, vegetable ghee, natural ghee, butter, and margarine. Additionally, the exhibition provides invaluable opportunities to attend workshops and seminars to gain insights into industry trends, and engage with potential partners and consumers to explore new markets.”

Dr. Ibrahim Al Haddabi, General Manager of Nabaa Al Amana Trading, emphasised the value of the exhibition for the SMEs, pointing out, “The exhibition presents an excellent opportunity to showcase products from the SMEs. Since our establishment in 2019, we have been committed to offering high-quality natural and organic food products. Therefore, participating in this event enables us to build customer trust, expand into global markets, and position our brand among leading international names.”

Adnan Al Ghusaini, Sales Manager at Rawaq for Natural Extracts, explained the focus of their participation, saying, “Our participation in this exhibition is focused on introducing Omani products to the Gulf and Western markets, showcasing the Sultanate’s offerings, and establishing connections with potential international agents and distributors.”

The Sultanate of Oman’s participation in the Saudi Food Show 2025 underscores the strong economic and investment ties between Oman and Saudi Arabia, bolstered by the leadership of both nations. The event reinforces bilateral cooperation and trade exchange, in line with Oman Vision 2040 and Saudi Vision 2030. Serving as a key platform, the exhibition enhances the international presence of Omani products, supports the expansion of Omani businesses, and contributes to the national economy. The event also brings together investors and business leaders from around the world, offering opportunities to explore investments in the Sultanate of Oman and get acquainted with the services and incentives provided by government bodies to present a competitive and business-friendly environment.
